Lidcombe Waratah Junior Soccer Club (also recognised as Lidcombe Waratah FC) is affiliated with the Granville & Districts Soccer Football Association (GDSFA), Football NSW and Football Federation Australia.

As a club we are committed to develop and promote football/soccer. We offer opportunities for all players, irrelevant of their skill and ability levels to enjoy their football in a fun, family friendly environment. Our home ground is Coleman Park which is located between Nottinghill Road and Georges Avenue Lidcombe.

Our club is open to girls and boys from Under 6 to seniors, also to men and women (over 35’s and over 45’s).

Club History

The club was established in 1938 as a non for profit, community soccer organisation that provides opportunities for all ages in Lidcombe and its surrounding areas to develop soccer skills, learn teamwork and fair play, and gain a love of sports and physical activity.

This year we celebrate 82 years supporting soccer in the local community.

Parents/Carers – How can you help?

As well as being our coaches and managers, each team will be rostered on duty twice a year to help with setting up the fields, cooking on the BBQ and in the canteen.  For this we ask parents to donate 1 hour of their time, twice a year and the roster will be covered.  If you want to help out more often, your offer will be gratefully accepted.
